Our team is what makes us who we are. We’re proud to highlight our Life Enrichment Coordinator at our HarborChase of Tallahassee community, Ashley Davis!

Ashley is originally from Florida; she was born in Tallahassee and raised in Monticello and graduated from Lawton Chiles High School. Ashley has two children and loves being a mom. In fact, the best days of her life were when her children were born. In her free time, she loves reading and taking her children to the park. 

Ashley is outgoing and exudes positivity and goodwill for others. She has an excellent sense of humor and can make even the most stoic of people smile in just a few short moments.

Ashley has worked as a Life Enrichment Coordinator with HarborChase since December 2019, but had volunteered with us for many years before then! Her favorite thing about her role at HarborChase is interacting with our wonderful residents—she truly enjoys feeling like she is contributing to the resident’s comfort and happiness. Working with residents has made her more comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life.

Ashley makes a point to interact with every resident in assisted living multiple times each shift. She knows what their interests and hobbies are and tries to cater to each one. Since the COVID-19 pandemic made interacting with each resident more difficult (and at the same time more crucial than ever), she assists in coming up with unique activities that will benefit each resident. She has a special needs child and her experience with him has made her more attentive to the little things – these “little” things that she does to assist the residents make all the difference in the world.
