Jerry Nelson, Directory of Hospitality

When he first started in the Culinary Arts field, Jerry worked under a Chef named Elinor Reed. He attributes her with teaching him persistence and bringing out his passion for being the best that he can be – always giving 110%.

Jerry’s professional background is in hotels and fine dining restaurants, but he believes senior living is much more personal because you connect with the residents. In his words, “Once you get to know [the residents], you can’t help but have a special place in your heart for them.”
