Harbor Retirement Associates Appoints Lee Sesco as Vice President of Hospitality & Ancillary Services

Vero Beach, FL — Harbor Retirement Associates (HRA) is proud to announce the appointment of Lee Sesco as its new Vice President of Hospitality & Ancillary Services. Bringing more than 26 years of culinary and chef management experience across both restaurants and senior living communities, Sesco is exceptionally equipped to spearhead HRA’s hospitality teams and uphold its signature high standards.

Sesco is a familiar face at HRA, having built a rich career journey within the organization. He first joined HRA as an executive sous chef at the company’s largest Florida HarborChase community. His leadership and expertise quickly led to his role opening HarborChase of Riverwalk in South Carolina as the Director of Hospitality, followed by serving as the Senior Director of Hospitality at HarborChase of Sarasota.

“I’m a true Florida guy,” Sesco shared, reflecting on his deep connection to the region. “I love hunting and fishing.”

Sesco’s diverse background and early life shaped his adaptable leadership style. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, he grew up in a military family. As the son of an Air Force officer, he spent his youth living in Germany and Japan. He ultimately graduated from high school in Germany, where he also launched his culinary career working as a young chef for an American-inspired barbecue restaurant.

Upon returning to the United States, Sesco continued to hone his craft. He previously served as the Executive Chef for The Shrimp Boat Restaurant in Panama City, Florida, where he successfully managed six different restaurants and mastered the fine art of shucking oysters. His passion for the culinary arts is so distinct that he famously travels with his own oyster knife, always ready for the next culinary opportunity.

Sesco holds a degree from the Culinary Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, Florida, and is a graduate of the Executive Education Program at DePaul University.

When he is not designing creative culinary events or managing hospitality operations, Sesco enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters, ages 4 and 14. Together with family and friends, he enjoys exploring the great outdoors and diving into all aspects of pop culture.
