Art has a way of telling stories that words alone cannot, and this September we are exploring exactly that. Wednesday, September 2, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., join HarborChase of Olney in welcoming Nancy Kotz from the Jewish Art Education Center for The Art of the High Holidays.
Nancy will explore how Rosh Hashanah, the Head of the Year, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, come to life through 1,500 years of Jewish art. Her chronological and topical overview of visual art objects and their symbolism will be accompanied by a slideshow and in-depth narration, with light refreshments served.
