Throughout its history of serving seniors, HRA has placed a strong emphasis on ensuring that the individual needs of every resident are met. Associates are carefully chosen and are steadfastly committed to our core values of respect, attentiveness, integrity, stewardship and excellence. Over the past couple of years, HRA communities and associates have been honored with a growing number of prestigious awards.
Recently, four HRA associates were recognized with individual awards by FLORIDA ALFA (FL ALFA), the Florida chapter of the Assisted Living Federation of America. This recognition included the following individual awards: Executive Director of the Year, Sales and Marketing Director of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Life Enrichment Director of the Year. These awards were created by ALFA to recognize assisted living administrators who demonstrate outstanding innovation, achievement and leadership.
Earlier this year, eight HRA communities in three different states received Pinnacle Quality Insight’s 2015 Customer Experience Award™ in several different categories. This award recognizes outstanding senior living communities who have consistently received high ratings from residents and their families. HRA earned the recognition by demonstrating a continued dedication to providing Best in Class senior healthcare services. The winning categories included: “Quality of Food”, “Safety and Security”, “Variety of Food/Menu Choices”, “Transportation Needs”, “Dining Services”, “Communication”, “Dignity and Respect” and “Recommend to Others”.
In addition, SeniorAdvisor.com, the leading online ratings and reviews site for senior living communities nationwide, recognized an HRA community with a Best of 2015 Award. This award recognizes outstanding senior living communities who have consistently received high ratings from residents and their families.
I wanted to drop you a line today, as the school year is winding down, and just thank you and your wonderful residents again. Thanks to all of the efforts and donations from Regency Park and its residents, I was able to take 35 singers, which made up 2 Choirs, to compete out at Festival Disney earlier this month. Many of these singers would not have been able to afford or attend this festival if it hadn’t have been for you!
The singers had an amazing time, were adjudicated by incredible college professors (Dr. Russell Robinson from UF, Dr. Jerry Blackstone a Grammy award winning conductor from The University of Michigan, and Dr. John V. Sinclair from Rollins College), got an extremely informative clinic with things the singers can work on for next year, and received many accolades.
At the award Ceremony, Vero Beach High School “Cleaned House” and received many honors:
- Both Choirs received the highest rating of Superior
- The Ambassador Mixed Choir (that I brought to the Holiday Party) received the Bronze Award for being the 3rd Highest Rated Choir out of all the High School Choirs
- The Combined Women’s Choir received the Silver Award for being the 2nd Highest Rated Choir out of all the High School Choirs AND received the Best In Class Award being the Highest Rated Choir out of all the High School Women’s Choirs
- We also had a student come home with an award for Outstanding Vocal Soloist!
The students were so excited and thankful to have this experience. Again, thank you so much and please share my thanks to all the residents that made this experience possible. Enjoy the photo of the Choir at the Awards Ceremony.
Have a wonderful summer and I hope to see you soon.
